Update on the Massachusetts Vaping Ban.

On November 12, 2019 the Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) issued a Quarantine Order covering most vaping products being marketed by the Adult-Use industry pending its investigation of whether such products contain Vitamin E acetate - a compound that the CDC has identified as a potential toxicant and that is believed to be commonly used as an additive in the illicit marketplace. Although no licensed vaping products have been linked to the outbreak, licensees should expect a testing requirement for that substance to be added to the Adult-Use Regulations next. A copy of the Order can be found here.
